Manifesto (english)

Story flies like a circle.
These are strange changing years, this is the time of easy myths and “theoretic will”.
These are years of decadence, again and hopefully not forever.
Than a century ago in Europe a lot of “artists” started to talk about Decadence.
Then technologic, scientific, ethics and social-cultural progress promoted by “positivism” was no able to explain all the human facts.
Now, again, it is so. Progress doesn’t explain all, progress builds walls and shuts out a lot of people from society. To this is added the crisis of the “plus” who determines this modern age : new media and the “diffuse idea of welfare”.
New media are failed. New media doesn’t show the plurality, doesn’t broadcast knowledge and doesn’t shape consciences. Information isn’t read or created. New media’s power isn’t exploit at all. For this new media are on decadence, because they aren’t used like they must be used. This is decadence, a decline that makes “omnipotent” managers, makers of an easy, convenient and functional information as to an easy public opinion. Also arts (music, cinema, figurative arts, etc) and culture are suffering this decline. This “modern era” is the age where all people can produce and spread arts and culture, but in the same time people “are suffering” arts and culture set up by the “central power”.
Optimistically is said that this is the best world we can have, that this is the age of “welfare”. The definition of welfare says “ the good health and happiness of people assured by benefits equally distributed”. Is this for real the “welfare world”? What’s the real health status and happiness status of this world?
A decline of social-cultural vitality and efficiency is in action.
These are years of Decadence.

p.s. sorry for this fucking english
